PARENT INFORMATION
Are you a parent or loved one of a child or teen with a disability?
Beyond Me London is always accepting new youth into our free mentorship program, which provides opportunities for community involvement and to create meaningful friendships.

Beyond Me London is a student-run non-profit organization that provides one-on-one mentoring services for children and teenagers with disabilities. Our goal is to help this youth population and their families overcome community-specific challenges and create lasting relationships between mentors and their buddies! Beyond Me London's mandate is to provide fun and flexible mentoring to benefit you, your child, and our network of passionate volunteers.
Our volunteers work closely with the family of their "buddy" to provide the best form of mentoring they can. Mentoring can range from arts and crafts, language and play stimulation, developing social skills, tutoring, homework help, going on fun outings around London, and much more. We also aid in the socialization of our buddies by planning various child- and teen-friendly events. The nature of a mentor and a buddy’s relationship and the location of their meetings are flexible and completely dependent on the needs of the child and their parent or guardian.
Beyond Me London's network of trained volunteers has a diverse set of skills, experience, and interests. This allows us to match volunteers with buddies who share their interests and ensures compatibility. The relationship itself will operate during the academic school year, beginning early October, and will include the breaks obligated to students (Ex. Summer break, Reading Week, Holidays, etc). Volunteers are mandated to meet with their buddy for a minimum of 1-2 hours per week.
